UPDATE: The audition registration was closed on the 3rd of November. siaa foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the extraordinary interest in our audition of 2025.
Unfortunately, the high number of registrations combined with technical problems by our email-provider last Sunday meant that we were not able to inform all singers who did not pass the registration round.
As we were able to contact all accepted participants, this means that if you did not receive an email from us on Sunday, you were unfortunately not selected. (Added: 11.11.2025)

We are looking for new talented opera singers to join our roster of exceptional artists and are organising our first audition in Vienna. If you are already developing your professional career, siaa offers you the opportunity to present yourself on international stages, to support your efforts through sponsoring and build up your network with key figures in the opera world.

The audition will be held on November the 16th in Vienna. It is your occasion to present yourself in front of the council of siaa foundation. Because the auditions slot are limited, an online pre-selection will be held. siaa offers a one year sponsorship contract for 2026. See the grey box below for detailed informations. Timeline:

  • -> November 3rd, 2025: Deadline for registration
  • -> November 9th, 2025: Announcement of the participants by the foundation board
  • -> November 16th, 2025: Audition in Vienna, Austria

 

Requirements:

  • -> a started singing study or comparable education
  • -> career goal: opera singer
  • -> availability to participate in concerts in 2026

 

How to register: Fill out the registration form providing the following informations:

  1. -> Name, working email, place of residence and voice type.
  2. -> At least two links to current recordings. Upload to YouTube is mandatory and also set the option „not made for children“.
  3. -> Short biography focusing on career and artistic activity if any.
  4. -> List of 5 opera arias to be prepared for the audition
  5. -> If your own pianist is to accompany you, please indicate this in advance. We will provide to all participants our own pianist free of charge.
  6. -> Incomplete applications will not be considered for the audition.
  7. -> You find more details in the front-page of the registration form.

 

Good to know: Auditions-slots will be limited, thus a registration is needed. siaa will rent an audition hall and pianist for the event. The candidates however must cover travel and accommodation costs themselves. Each audition lasts 20 minutes and be held in the centre of Vienna, Austria. The audition is not open to the public.
